Notifications, background tasks, automatic synchronization or alarms do not work correctly for “Auto Message” on your Lenovo X3 Lite?

  1. Open the “Settings” of your device.
  2. Choose “Power manager”.
  3. Choose “Background app management”.
  4. Next to “Auto Message”, make sure that it says “Allow auto-start”.
  5. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  6. Open “Auto Message” on your device.
  7. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  1. Open the “Settings” of your device.
  2. Choose “Power manager”.
  3. Choose “Background app management”.
  4. Next to “Auto Message”, make sure that it says “Unrestricted”.
  5. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  6. Open “Auto Message” on your device.
  7. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  1. Open the “Settings” of your device.
  2. Choose “Power manager”.
  3. Next to “Ultimate Power Saver”, make sure that the switch is turned off, i.e. with its knob or handle at the left.
  4. Next to “Smart switch”, make sure that it says “Off”.
  5. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  6. Open “Auto Message” on your device.
  7. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  3. Choose “Standby intelligent power saving”.
  4. At the top, make sure that the switch is turned off, i.e. with its knob or handle at the left.
  5. Find “Auto Message” in the list of apps.
  6. Next to “Auto Message”, make sure that there is a checkmark in the checkbox.
  7. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  8. Open “Auto Message” on your device.

  1. There are many apps on the app store which claim to boost performance, free up space, save battery, or optimize the RAM of your device. However, these apps interfere with other apps, like “Auto Message”, and prevent them from working correctly.
  2. If you have any app like “Clean Master”, “Security Master”, “Task Manager”, “Phone Cleaner”, “Super Cleaner”, “Power Clean”, “DU Cleaner”, “DU Speed Booster”, “CCleaner”, “AVG Cleaner”, “Avast Cleanup” or “Norton Clean”, check that it doesn’t block or terminate “Auto Message”.
  3. If unsure, consider uninstalling the app claiming to “clean” or “boost” your device.
