Android 4.1–4.4 (“Jelly Bean”, “KitKat”)

Motorola

Notifications, background tasks, automatic synchronization or alarms do not work correctly for “Auto Message” on Android 4.1–4.4 (“Jelly Bean”, “KitKat”)?

  1. Open the “Settings” of your device.
  2. Choose “Apps”.
  3. At the top, select “Downloaded”.
  4. Choose “Auto Message” from the list of apps.
  5. At the top, next to “Show notifications”, make sure that there is a checkmark in the checkbox.
  6. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  1. There are many apps on the app store which claim to boost performance, free up space, save battery, or optimize the RAM of your device. However, these apps interfere with other apps, like “Auto Message”, and prevent them from working correctly.
  2. If you have any app like “Clean Master”, “Security Master”, “Task Manager”, “Phone Cleaner”, “Super Cleaner”, “Power Clean”, “DU Cleaner”, “DU Speed Booster”, “CCleaner”, “AVG Cleaner”, “Avast Cleanup” or “Norton Clean”, check that it doesn’t block or terminate “Auto Message”.
  3. If unsure, consider uninstalling the app claiming to “clean” or “boost” your device.
