Notifications, background tasks, automatic synchronization or alarms do not work correctly for “Auto Message” on your Motorola Moto E3 Power?


  1. Open the “Settings” of your device.
  2. Choose “Sound & notification”.
  3. Choose “App notifications”.
  4. Choose “Auto Message” from the list of apps.
  5. Next to “Block all”, make sure that the switch is turned off, i.e. with its knob or handle at the left.
  6. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  3. Choose “Auto Message” from the list of apps.
  4. Choose “Notifications”.
  5. Next to “Block all”, make sure that the switch is turned off, i.e. with its knob or handle at the left.
  6. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  3. At the top right, tap on ⋮ (three dots) to open the expanded menu.
  4. Next to “Auto-sync data”, make sure that there is a checkmark in the checkbox.
  5. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  3. Choose “Auto Message” from the list of apps.
  4. Choose “Permissions”.
  5. Make sure that all switches are turned on, i.e. with their knobs or handles at the right, unless you have any specific objections.
  6. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  3. At the top right, tap on ⋮ (three dots) to open the expanded menu.
  4. Choose “Battery optimization”.
  5. In the drop-down list at the top, switch from “Not optimized” to “All apps”.
  6. Choose “Auto Message” from the list of apps.
  7. Switch from “Optimize” to “Don’t optimize”.
  8. Tap on “Done”.
  9. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  10. Open “Auto Message” on your device.
  11. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  3. At the top right, tap on ⋮ (three dots) to open the expanded menu.
  4. Choose “Battery saver”.
  5. At the top, make sure that the switch is turned off, i.e. with its knob or handle at the left.
  6. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  7. Open “Auto Message” on your device.
  8. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  1. There are many apps on the app store which claim to boost performance, free up space, save battery, or optimize the RAM of your device. However, these apps interfere with other apps, like “Auto Message”, and prevent them from working correctly.
  2. If you have any app like “Clean Master”, “Security Master”, “Task Manager”, “Phone Cleaner”, “Super Cleaner”, “Power Clean”, “DU Cleaner”, “DU Speed Booster”, “CCleaner”, “AVG Cleaner”, “Avast Cleanup” or “Norton Clean”, check that it doesn’t block or terminate “Auto Message”.
  3. If unsure, consider uninstalling the app claiming to “clean” or “boost” your device.
